Branding
Client Brief
Herring Homes required something simple and clean while emphasising the quality of product produced by Herring Homes. It also needed to look nothing like existing developer logos i.e. none of the stereo typical roof slates, tools etc.
The outcome
It was decided to go for a purely font based logo housing the "Designers / Constructors" label. It was important the logo was not misconstrued in any way so by having a font based logo, the chances of that happening is greatly reduced. Two strong yet complimentary fonts were used to balance off each other with the "Designers / Constructors" label acting as a foundation for the "Homes".
Web Design & Build
Client Brief
This website is in a constant development stage. It was important to the client that it is frequently refreshed not only in the graphics but the actual design of the site.
The outcome
Built using W3C compliant HTML & CSS, the site is constructed for quick and easy graphics updates and build alterations. The main areas of the site needed to be the property pages and it was important users clicked on these links over anything else on the site. Within the links both a flash movie and a gallery can be seen of the chosen property. The site has attracted a large number of visitors and has received good feedback.
Videography
Once the property was finished and furnished, a complete journey through the house was filmed, combining a number of technically beautiful and aesthetically thought provoking shots. By using a variety of crane, tripod and steadycam shots edited together with still photography we were able to build a solid library of media for a web movie. Importantly, it also meant the project was captured and presented in a medium that allows others to enjoy this fabulous property and not just the lucky owners.
Print material from magazine and newspaper advertisement to downloadable pdf documents and brochures were designed and delivered to help promote the property. We were in direct contact with the publishing houses to ensure any documents that went to print were received and processed correctly for the relevant issue. This removed any of the hassle and worry for the client in this field.
